Chaldean, not Pythagorean
This reads the Chaldean system, the one most Indian numerology practice uses — a different letter-to-number table from the Pythagorean system most Western numerology software defaults to, so the same name can carry a different Name number between the two. Moolank comes from the day of birth alone; Bhagyank from the full date; both reduce every digit down to a single number, and Chaldean practice reduces all the way — it does not stop at 11 or 22 the way Pythagorean "master numbers" do.
Why is my Name number different from another numerology site?
Most likely a Pythagorean site: it assigns numbers to letters differently from the Chaldean system this calculator uses. Both are real, established systems — they are not the same table.
What is the difference between Moolank and Bhagyank?
Moolank reduces only the day of the month you were born; Bhagyank reduces every digit of the full date, including the year. They usually differ.
Why does this need only my name and birth date — no time or place?
Numerology has no ephemeris under it at all; it reads a name and a date only. Asking for a birth time or place here would imply a precision the method itself does not use.
