Marriage Muhurat 2026 — auspicious dates
14 auspicious days ahead · London · From today
The year at a glance
Marked days are auspicious, and the deeper the colour the better the day. A month with none says why it is closed, rather than leaving it blank.

How these dates are chosen
What gates a date
The solar month first — a wedding is not begun while the Sun stands in certain signs. Then the nakshatra the day's sunrise saw. Then the periods no ceremony is begun in at all: Chaturmas, Adhik Maas, Pitru Paksha.
What grades it
The weekday and the tithi are preferences, not gates. The classical texts rank them below the solar month and the nakshatra, and the almanacs we check against publish dates that miss them. So a date missing one is offered and says which — you judge, rather than trusting a label.
What the windows are
Named windows the tradition already recognises — Abhijit, Brahma muhurta, Godhuli, and the auspicious choghadiya — with Rahu kaal, Gulika, Yamaganda and Bhadra cut out of them. Not the leftover gaps between the bad hours, which nobody can act on.
How closely we match the almanacs
For 2026 we find every one of the 59 marriage dates Drik Panchang publishes for Delhi. We also show dates they do not: their list is a curated shortlist of about five a month, ours is every date the rules allow. Each of ours carries its grade so you can weigh it.
What this is not
A muhurat computed from a date and a place is a public fact. Choosing between these dates for a particular couple is a consultation, and this page does not pretend to be one — no birth details are used here.
