What is kept
The ekadashi of the bright half of Adhik Maas, the extra month that comes about once in three years, so this ekadashi does not come every year. People keep it with extra care for that reason. Like every ekadashi it is kept for Lord Vishnu: no rice or grains, and the fast is broken the next day, on Dwadashi, at the parana time given on this page.
