The day Lord Vishnu goes to sleep for four months, and Chaturmas begins. From today until Dev Uthani Ekadashi, weddings and house-warmings are not done. In Maharashtra it is Ashadhi Ekadashi, when the wari of lakhs of warkaris reaches Pandharpur for Vitthal darshan.
