What is kept
The day Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini, after the churning of the ocean, to give the amrit to the devas and not the asuras. People worship Vishnu and read the Mohini Ekadashi katha. Like every ekadashi it is kept for Lord Vishnu: no rice or grains, and the fast is broken the next day, on Dwadashi, at the parana time given on this page.
