What is kept
Mokshada means the giver of moksha. It is the same day as Gita Jayanti, when Shri Krishna gave the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna, so many people read the Gita today. Like every ekadashi it is kept for Lord Vishnu: no rice or grains, and the fast is broken the next day, on Dwadashi, at the parana time given on this page.
