Sankashti Chaturthi
Dates computed for Delhi.
What is kept
A monthly fast for Lord Ganesha, on the fourth day after the full moon. Sankashti means freedom from troubles. People fast through the day and break it only after the moon rises: they see the moon, offer it water, and then eat. That is why the moonrise time matters on this day. When it falls on a Tuesday it is called Angaraki Chaturthi and is kept with extra care. Karva Chauth and Sakat Chauth are Sankashti days too.
